Ve dnech 8.–12. července 2019 se bude konat týdenní kurz Pokroky ve vybraných oblastech biomedicíny pro studenty lékařských fakult, zaměřený na získání nových poznatků a praktických zkušeností s výzkumnou činností.
Cílem je zvýšit znalosti studentů v oblasti biomedicínského výzkumu, a také jejich zájem postgraduální studium. Kurz je pořádán již podruhé, a to ve spolupráci mezi 2. LF UK a třemi ústavy AV ČR (Fyziologickým ústavem, Ústavem molekulární genetiky a Ústavem organické chemie a biochemie). Kurz bude probíhat v angličtině.
The course will focus on acquiring new knowledge and practical experience with biomedical research. The aim is to increase the qualification of graduates of medical faculties of the Charles University in Prague in the field of biomedical research and to increase their interest in postgraduate education.
The course will take place in three Prague institutes of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic (Institute of Physiology, Institute of Molecular Genetics and Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry) and will have both theoretical (lectures) and practical part (demonstrations).
The course is primarily, but not exclusively, intended for 1st and 2nd year students, it will be in English and its capacity is limited to 20 participants. Applicants will be selected on a first come, first-serve basis. During the course, students will be provided accommodation and boarding.
