The English General Medicine programme, guaranteed by the Second Faculty of Medicine, has obtained an accreditation from the prestigious Medical Board of California. This year's Rector's Special Prize was awarded to Florian Merkle, a sixth-year student of General Medicine (English parallel line) at the Second Faculty of Medicine for his remarkable civic responsibility and human selflessness.
Forbes magazine included Emília Petríková and Dr. Radovan Hudák in their 2016 list of the most talented Slovaks under 30.
