Visit of prof. Curry, Dean of Education at Northwestern University

On Tuesday, 2nd September 2008, prof. Raymond Curry, the Dean of Education at Feinberg School of Medicine, Northwestern University, Chicago, visited the 2nd Faculty of Medicine during his short stay in Prague.
Prof. Curry, together with prof. Stary, the Head of Department of Paediatric Haematology and Oncology, attended the board of Dean. Both parties, Czech and American, confirmed that they are willing to continue and extend the programme of stay exchanges, which are currently sponsored by the Kristina Driehaus Foundation.
Prof. Curry, stated that the Northwestern University is ready to accept more applicants and that American students are also interested in coming to Prague.
During the discussion, prof. Stary and the board members declared that Czech students, despite of early promotion, did not use this excellent opportunity fully this year.
