Welcome, Onboarding, and Guidance Support

Our faculty provides dedicated support for new and current students through Welcome, Onboarding, and Guidance services. This includes assistance with visas, residence permits, arrival in Prague, orientation at the faculty, academic planning, study strategies, and decision-making related to studies.

Student Ombudsman, Ethics, and Equal Opportunities

  • The Student Ombudsman provides independent and confidential support in resolving study-related issues, conflicts, or concerns. The Ombudsman also oversees matters related to ethics, equal opportunities, and protection against harassment, ensuring fair treatment and a safe, respectful academic environment for all students.

 

Psychological Support

  • Students have access to professional psychological counselling services to support their mental health and overall well-being.
 

 

Student Health Services

  • Information and support related to student health services are available, including access to general practitioners (GPs) and vaccination requirements relevant to medical studies.

 

Students with Special Needs

We provide individualized support and accommodations for students with special educational needs to ensure equal access to education.

Feedback and Evaluation of Teaching

  • Students regularly provide feedback on courses and teaching quality, contributing to continuous improvement of study programmes.

Student Representation

  • Students are actively involved in faculty governance through student representation and the Student Senate, giving them a voice in academic and institutional decision-making.

  • Students have access to dedicated learning and relaxation spaces, including quiet study areas, informal learning zones, spaces for rest and social interaction, and on-campus canteens.

Accommodation and Student Dormitories

  • Students receive guidance and support with accommodation options, including university student dormitories and housing in Prague.

Computers, Wi-Fi, and Printing Services

  • Students have access to faculty computers, high-speed academic Wi‑Fi, and printing and scanning services.

AI Tools and Apps

Students have access to university-approved AI tools to support learning, research, writing, and productivity. These tools include:

  • AI assistants for writing, editing, and brainstorming

  • Tools for academic research and referencing

  • Coding and data analysis support
