Fresher's Week
The Dean, the Language Department and the students of the 2nd Faculty of Medicine cordially invite you to attend an orientation week for 1st year students. The purpose of this week is to help you settle down and provide a smooth transition into your first year at medical school.
Entrance Exams at the 2nd Faculty of Medicine
Forty-one applicants from all over the word came to our faculty on July 8th, 2015 to sit entrance examinations. Young people from Germany, France, Sweden, Great Britain, Bulgaria, Italy, Greece, Ireland, India, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Ukraine, Russia, Portugal and the USA decided to take their written and oral exams in Prague.

The Biomania Student Scientific Meeting
The deadline for registration for The Biomania Student Scientific Meeting is 31st July 2015 (active participants) or till 31st August 2015 (passive participants). One-day conference will take place on 22nd September 2015 in the cosy and exciting environment of the Brno Observatory and Planetarium.

PragueIntervention IX Symposium
The Department of Cardiology, 2nd Faculty of Medicine, Charles University, and the Motol University Hospital would like to invite you to the PragueIntervention IX Symposium, aka The Symposium on Coronary and Non-Coronary Interventions, focused on clinical practice. The Symposium will take place on 19 June 2015 at Břevnovský klášter (Břevnov Monastery). Among others, two international guests, Dr. Desai from Cleveland Clinic and Dr. Kimmelstiel from Tufts Medical Center, Boston, both well-known experts in the fields of non-invasive imaging methods, interventional cardiology and cardiomyopathy, will give their lectures.
