The Dean, the Language Department and the students of the 2nd Faculty of Medicine cordially invite you to attend an orientation week for 1st year students. The purpose of this week is to help you settle down and provide a smooth transition into your first year at medical school.
Forty-one applicants from all over the word came to our faculty on July 8th, 2015 to sit entrance examinations. Young people from Germany, France, Sweden, Great Britain, Bulgaria, Italy, Greece, Ireland, India, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Ukraine, Russia, Portugal and the USA decided to take their written and oral exams in Prague.

Going to college can be a challenge, but when you add up a new city and a new language to the equation it can be quite overwhelming. That is why that for the fifth consecutive year, upper year students and faculty staff organize the ‘Fresher’s Week’ as a way of smoothing the sometimes hard transition.
Although the first of the three admission exam deadlines has already passed the others still lie ahead, and the faculty will once again be choosing the best and brightest applicants. Take a look at the comments of some of the students who have already applied to study at the 2nd Faculty.
