The Erasmus students being on the 2nd Faculty of Medicine this year are leaving us soon.
On this occasion we would like to invite the Erasmus students and the students and teachers of the 2nd Faculty of Medicine to the Erasmus leaving party
The Museum night in Český kras (Bohemian Karst) 8. 6. – 9. 6. 2007
It will take place: in Český kras, Solvayovy lomy (quarry), the open-air museum of calcite mining with the small light railways. Now, after more than 50 years, the trains are put on the trails again. Actually, it is a unique open-air museum in the centre of Europe, founded by a group of young people in a protest against the communist regime.
There, on the 8th June, the Museum night will take place, under the motto ‘From the technique to the mystery’. We invite you to join a marvellous sight-seeing tour around the opened-air museum. You will experience excitement and fun, listen to the music group ‘Krasová deprese’ etc.
On the 9th June there will be a parade of the various types of the old mining machines. In case of your interest, we can arrange the following:
- a small walk to Amerika and Serbia,
- a tour around the karst flora,

a visit to the village ‘St. Jan under the cliff’.
In the evening there will be a campfire.
Accommodation: the one, who would like to stay over night, can either bring a tent to sleep in the quarry area, or it is possible to stay in a log cabin (in this case, please inform us in time)
The transport: 31 minutes by bus from the underground B station Zličín (bus 311).
Meeting point: upstairs near the exit of the Zličín underground station at 7.30 pm.
