The White Coat Ceremony is the highlight of Freshers' Week, which helps first-year international students start their studies in a foreign country. This year, the ceremony was held on 27 September.
After days packed with a Faculty Survival Course, Czech lessons, visits to important places (libraries, faculty units, etc.) and team-building activities, the big moment came when the newcomers received their first white coats. The event took place in Carolinum with the participation of the Dean, Prof. Marek Babjuk, the Vice-Dean for Admissions and International Students, Prof. David Kachlik, and the Coordinator for International Students, Mgr. Petra Fabingerová. Parents of new students were also invited.
