Best International Medical Student Award

The Best International Medical Student Award may only be awarded to students studying in English between the second and sixth years of the General Medicine Program at 2nd Faculty of Medicine, Charles University in Prague.

The Best International Medical Student Award is linked with a bursary for study in the English language to the value of 142 500 Kč in any given academic year.

The award may be granted by the Dean of the Faculty to those students who meet all of the conditions in points a to c below in any academic year:
- The student's study average for the whole of their studies to date must be in the 95th to 100th percentile of the study average for all students studying the given program in the English language.
- The student's study average for the whole of their studies to date must be in the 90th to 100th percentile of all students in the given program.

During their studies to date, the student has successfully completed most of the required exams at 2nd Faculty of Medicine, Charles University in Prague.

Holders of the award will not be granted a scholarship in the given academic year.

The Dean of the Faculty will always decide on the allocation of awards based on the criteria above.
- This Dean's Notice is valid from the day it is published and comes into effect on 1. 10. 2014 and replaces all previous versions of the statute of awards published on the faculty web pages at www.lf2.cuni.cz/en/best-international-medical-student-award.
