Enrolment in elective courses in the academic year 2020/2021
Article I
Introductory provisions
In the academic year 2020/21, the mandatory enrolment and registration for elective courses (EC) of students at the Second Faculty of Medicine, Charles University (2. LF UK) will be done via the Study Information System (SIS).
Article II
Mandatory registration (electronic application) for EC via SIS
- The registration for all EC in the academic year 2020/21 has to be done via SIS during the following periods:
- For the winter semester from 14. 9. 2020 (07.00 p.m.) to 30. 9. 2020 (11.59 p.m.);
- For the summer semester from 8. 2. 2021 (07.00 p.m.) to 14. 2. 2021 (11.59 p.m.).

- Each student can apply for up to four EC at the same time (the system will automatically prevent students from applying for additional EC).
- The system will allow registering for each EC until the course has reached the maximum capacity as marked in its timetable.
Article III
Mandatory registration for EC
- After the deadline for EC registration, these subjects become mandatory requirements of the student in the given academic study year.
Article IV
Effective date and validity term of this provision
- Dean’s Provision No. 6/2019 is cancelled.
- This Dean's provision is valid for the academic year 2020/21 and comes into effect on the day it is signed by the Dean.
