Ensemble Martinů in Karolinum Once Again at 2nd Faculty of Medicine Concert
Regular visitors of our faculty concerts in Karolinum would recall the Ensemble Martinů's outstanding rendering of Astor Piazzolla's tangos in 2007. This time Ensemble Martinů will perform a very different repertoire – music of Jewish composers of 19th–21st centuries (Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, Darius Milhaud, Leonard Bernstein, Gideon Klein and Alexej Fried). And last but not least pieces by Ms. Sylvie Bodorová, a contemporary Czech composer whose music we have already heard in another concert in Karolinum.
Ensemble Martinů is known for their flawless and stunning performance, so join in on Thursday 23 May at 7.30 pm in Karolinum. The entrance is free for students, employees and friends of 2nd Faculty of Medicine.
