The epileptological research centre EpiReC invites you to this year's EpiReC Retreat, which will take place on Wednesday, October 26 from 2:30 p.m. in the Pelouch Lecture Hall of the Second Faculty of Medicine in the campus of the theoretical institutes at Plzeňská 311, Prague 5.

The conference is dedicated to modern topics of epilepsy research. This year's invited speaker is dr. Barbora Straka, who in her lecture will present the latest findings on the properties of the epileptogenic zone in children with tuberous sclerosis. This year, Dr. Straka was awarded the prestigious Epilepsia Open prize for her research. The conference will also feature contributions with the latest findings on the causes and mechanisms of severe forms of epilepsy, as well as new methods of diagnosis and treatment of this disease.
