PhD position in neuroscience
A PhD student position for three years is available from March 2008 within the multiple sclerosis research group in the Department of Neurology at the University of the Saarland, Homburg/Saar, Germany

The aim of our lab is to elucidate the molecular mechanisms underlying neurodegeneration in an experimental model of multiple sclerosis in order to develop novel therapeutic strategies.
Candidates should be highly motivated, have a strong interest in neuroscience and a good knowledge of English. Experience in cellular/molecular biology or patch-clamp electrophysiology would be favourable, but is not a necessary pre-condition.
