MedGames is an educational-competitive project for 5th and 6th-year medical students studying in both Slovak and English languages, as well as for 2nd and 3rd-year nursing students.
It is a competition aimed at enhancing the practical skills of future doctors and nurses and helping them in their future work. MedGames are designed to focus primarily on practical skills. Real-life case studies are used, drawn from the experiences of doctors from various specialties, and the most advanced Simulated Training Center of the Jessenius Faculty of Medicine, Comenius University in Martin, is utilized. All of this is supervised by experienced educators and clinical specialists.
The combination of medical and nursing student competitions makes MedGames a unique format that has no equivalent in Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
