Announcement of Winners for the Best Essay and Photograph from Internships

The prizes for best works were presented during an academic senate meeting on Wednesday, 14 December. Take a look at the results, winning works and photographs from the ceremony.

Altogether 22 essays and eight photographs were sent into the competition, which was open for entries throughout October. The four-member committee, which was composed of the faculty editorial board representatives (Ing. Tereza Kůstková, dr. Petr Andreas) and the IFMSA (Tereza Jílková and Zuzana Burešová), judged every registered entry with zero to three points. The main prizes were won by authors of essays and photographs with the highest number of points; the authors of essays and photographs from IFMSA internships, which have received the highest number of points from the remaining works, received the IFMSA award. The committee has decided to also present an honorary award for an essay from an Erasmus internship that had received more points than the second essay from an IFMSA internship. The two main prizes render 1,500 Kč each; the IFMSA and honorary awards are book prizes.

The diplomas and awards were presented during a senate meeting by the Dean Professor Komárek on behalf of the faculty and Tereza Jílková for the IFMSA.

Congratulations to the winners!
