Dear colleagues, students,
let me inform you about the latest measures of the government of the Czech Republic concerning the teaching at our faculty. Until now, the organization of teaching at our faculty has been guided by Methodical Directive No. 02/2020, which was based on the Regulation of the Hygiene Station of the City of Prague No. 15/2020. The latest government measure, which has been in force since 12 October 2020, continues to prohibit personal presence in university studies, with the exception of clinical and practical teaching and internships for medical students. This regulation does not specify practical training activities and does not specify the maximum number of present students.
Due to the deteriorating epidemiological situation and the significantly growing number of people with a positive test for COVID-19 and in accordance with the recommendation of the Vice-Rector of Charles University, I allow the presence of a maximum of 5 people in clinical and practical teaching in the period from 12 October to 25 October 2020, provided that hygiene measures are complied with in accordance with Methodological Directive No. 02/2020, Article III. All other teaching takes place only by distance form.
Testing in the period from 12 to 25 October 2020 can be both distance and full-time in the presence of a maximum of 5 people and while maintaining hygienic measures according to Methodological Directive No. 02/2020.
I believe that together we will be able to cope with this extremely difficult period.
