PharmDr. Jitka Palich Fučíková, Ph.D. (Department of Immunology, Second Faculty of Medicine, Charles University and Motol University Hospital), deals with the issue of immunogenic cell death and its role in the immunotherapeutic treatment of tumor diseases. For her research, she won the prestigious award For Women in Science Award, awarded under the L'Oréal-UNESCO project, on June 4.
