- Mitophagy in the pathophysiology of neurocognitive disorders
- Blood-based biomarkers in the diagnosis of neurodegenerative diseases
- https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Katerina-Cechova-6
- Validation of specific biomarkers of mitophagy in the Alzheimer's disease continuum (TAČR, KAPPA) - head of laboratory section. The project aims to define the relationship of mitophagy markers in blood serum and cerebrospinal fluid in patients at different stages of AN and to determine their relationship with standard biomarkers of AN (beta-amyloid, tau, p-tau) and cognitive performance (more at www.mitophagyad.eu). PI: doc. MUDr. Martin Vyhnálek, Ph.D.
- Blood Proteins for early Discrimination of dEmentias (bPRIDE) JPND project- member of an international consortium whose main goal is to identify and develop a panel of plasma biomarkers for early and specific diagnosis of the most common neurodegenerative diseases (AN, frontotemporal lobar degeneration, Lewy body diseases) and translate it into an accessible diagnostic test. PI (CZ): Prof. MUDr. Jakub Hort, Ph.D.
