Studies – On-line Registration 2024/2025
Registration timetable
Registration for the academic year 2024/2025 for students of all years except entering first-year students takes place:
- On-line (available only for students that successfully completed all the study duties);
- or at the Study department.
On-line registration is available only for students that successfully completed all the study duties except summer holiday training that will be entered into the Student System by the Study Department at a later date. On-line registration will take a place from 15 July to 16 September 2024 and includes checking the fulfillment of duties for the current academic year and electronic submission (check) of an application for control for advancing to the next stage of study.
Students will not print the document “Results of enrolled duties” this year, but will only check their enrolled and fulfilled obligations in the SIS and ask for a check for advancement to the next stage of study. By submitting this request, the student confirms that all personal data of the student as well as data on fulfilled study obligations are true and correct.
Students who have not fulfilled all study obligations by the date of enrolment for the given year, must attend the enrolment in person at the study department.
Enrolment will be conducted electronically for students enrolling in the 2nd and higher classes of the Bachelor's, Master's and Continuing Master's degree programmes.
Electronic enrolment will take place 15 July 2024 to 16 September 2024.
Students will only check their enrolled and fulfilled study obligations in SIS and request a check for advancement to the next level of study. By submitting this request, students certify that all student personal data and data on fulfilled study obligations are true.
Students who have not fulfilled all their study obligations by the date of registration for the year must appear in person at the Study Department to register.

Accuracy and relevance of personal information
Check in the SIS that all your personal information are up to date:
- phone number,
- bank account,
- e-mail,
- marital status,
- delivery address in the Czech Republic.
It is important that your personal information is up to date. Should you find any discrepancies in your personal data, please correct it. However, if the SIS does not permit you to make the change, please contact the study department.
Web address
The Student Information System (SIS) may be found at this internet address: https://is.cuni.cz/studium/eng/. After launching Internet Explorer, type this address into the ‘Address’ field. You will see this ‘Introductory page’ displayed:

Registration
Enter your Login and password here and then click on ‘Login’. If a student has two or more fields of study, use only one username to log in to the System and then select the appropriate field of study. In such a case you will see the list of fields that you are studying after login. Only after selecting a field will you be able to continue registration in the standard way.
(For security reasons, if you are not using your own computer, never enable password saving when logging in.)
The following will be displayed on the screen:
Report problems with logging in to the SIS administrator at the Second Faculty of Medicine (@email).
Time
While working with the Student Information System, time is running at the top left of the screen:
This is for reasons of security. If you leave your computer and forget to log out of the System, after sixty minutes it will not be possible to make any changes using the System.
How to ensure the filling in of fulfilled credits and exams into the Student Information System?
On the entry, page click on ‘Summary of exam results’ and choose the academic year 2023/2024.
On the entry screen under the tab ‘Overview of exam results’ you will find personal information and further a list of courses which you had enrolled in for the current academic year.
Checking fulfillment of credit and exam requirements
Before registering for the next academic year, you must have fulfilled the duties of the current year. Go through the list of courses that you have enrolled in for the current year and check whether you have fulfilled the course requirements at the beginning of the status line. If course requirements are fulfilled, there is a green tick; if not, there is a red X at the beginning of the status line.
If you find that any of your credits or exams that you have passed are not registered in the system, you must contact the clinic or institute that teaches the course by e-mail.
After you have checked all your obligations and if they are listed as fulfilled in the system, select the 'Validations' item from the menu and click on the 'Submit application' button (I apply to the study department to carry out the final check for advancement to the next stage of study).
