At the ceremony, held on 6 April 2020 on the eve of the 674th anniversary of the founding of Charles University, the rector, Prof. Milena Králíčková, handed over the Donatio Universitatis Carolinae award. One of the recipients was Prof. Jan Trka.
Dr Zuzana Střížová from the Institute of Immunology won, for the second time, the Vlasta Adamová Award for her excellent work in the field of oncology and hematology. The Dean handed it to the scientist on 20 January 2022.
A doctoral student from the Department of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology - CLIP Group won first prize at an international postgraduate conference in Hradec Králové, which took place on 25 and 26 November 2021.
On 4 November, the physician and teacher of the Department of Infectious Diseases and chairman of the Faculty Academic Senate won the President's Award of the Czech Medical Chamber for his contribution to lifelong education of physicians.
On 30 September 2021, a physician and researcher from the Pediatric Clinic received the Albert Schweitzer Prize in Medicine, which is awarded annually by the French Embassy.
