On Friday, November 12, a ceremony was held at the Department of Anatomy of the Second Faculty of Medicine, Charles University, to honor the memory of body donors for anatomical purposes. The heart-shaped linden tree, which was planted here in cooperation with the Faculty of Forestry and Wood Sciences of the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague, will bear wooden leaves on its branches with the first names of the donors.

Many exchange students visit the Second Faculty and Motol University Hospital every year under the IFMSA, Erasmus and other schemes. We appreciate they chose just this faculty and asked some of them what they like about the place and Prague and what they would recommend to other incoming students.

Dr. Karel Koubský from the Children's Cardiocenter of the Second Faculty of Medicine, Charles University and Motol University Hospital received the Ervín Adam Award for excellent work of preventative importance for the health of the population. An interview.

The final of the unique competition on the Da Vinci surgical simulator, the first of its kind in the Czech Republic, took place on 30 May at the robotic center of the Department of Urology.
