Forbes magazine has for the second time compiled a ranking of the 50 best doctors in the Czech Republic. And once again we find a representative of the Second Faculty of Medicine. Their number has even increased compared to last year.

From 2 January 2024, classes will take place in the usual way and without restrictions...

We mourn the loss of life of our university community, express our deepest condolences to all the bereaved and our thoughts are with all those affected by the tragedy. We now ask everyone to try to remain calm and composed, and we again extend our condolences to all those whose hearts have been broken by the loss of loved ones...

Do not hesitate to seek professional crisis help in response to the shooting at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University (if you need to share the experience, in case of psychological problems such as shock, anxiety, insomnia, fears, etc.).

For safety and ethical reasons, we have therefore decided to completely cancel
classes at our faculty tomorrow, December 22, 2023 (these are lectures, seminars
and practical exercises).
 

MUDr. Tomáš Milota, Ph.D., on behalf of the team of authors from the Department of Immunology and CLIP of the Second Faculty of Medicine of the Charles University in Prague, received the Dr. Liška Award for the best publication in 2022.

At its December meeting, the Czech Immunological Society awarded its prizes. Four scientists from the Second Faculty of Medicine and their teams were successful. Congratulations to Prof. Jitka Palich Fučíková, Dr. Zuzana Paračková, Dr. Veronika Kanderová and Mgr. Jitka Smetanová.
